Check, double check, triple check.

All systems go. Ready for takeoff. I think I have everything I need all packed and ready to go. What should you take on a one year adventure ? Well I don't think that much. I have only one backpack which isn't even stuffed full. There's more room for things but I don't think I need it. I can fill it up as I go, leave stuff behind.

Currently I have: 5 shirts, 2 pants, 2 shorts, boxers, socks, sleeping bag, sleeping liner, extra pair of shoes, multipurpose tool, towl, handkerchiefs, tripod, camera, ipod, battery charger, shaving gear, earplugs, travel guides, all paperwork (passport, tickets, bank stuff).

Think that's about it (do realize that this was a quick checkup for me as well to see if I have everything).

If there's something I've forgotten, I'll buy it when we get there. It will probably be cheaper than buying it here.

Before heading off I decided to get a haircut. As allways it turned out that I had to play the guineau ?? pig. Basically whenever I get a haircut, some new girl in her trainee period has to cut my hair. Not funny, the girl was very self confident as she started to cut my hair. But her trainer didn't really check her, and she just kept on cutting away, pretending like she knew what she was doing. I had my doubts however. In the end the result was ok i guess. Luckily she could handle the rasor blade pretty well, not like a previous encounter that I had with a trainee who left me with some cuts.

Ah well...
