Arrived into the airport and took the train to Amsterdam Centraal. One little tip: the cost of a 1st class train ticket is only a few euros extra (about 5.50, and a 2nd class is 3.50).

Once at Centraal, it was less than a 10 minute cab to the Pulitzer, and about €10.00.

We  settled in and went to dinner in the restaurant.

The Pulitzer is in a great location - right on a canal in a nice part of town. Just down the street from the Anne Frank house. The hotel has it's own boat for canal cruises, but this service wasn't available, as it was Gay Pride weekend, and there was a floating parade down the canal on Saturday.

And what a parade it was! The canals were PACKED with spectators.

We stopped to watch on a walk from the flea markets at Waterloopen.

Amsterdam is really easy to walk from one end of the city to the other in half a day.

We got no-queue tickets from the concierge and went to the Anne Frank house. The crowds queue outside all day, so it's always crowded. The no queue tickets were a lifesaver.
