Arrived back in Granada on the monday lunchtime & booked straight into the "Oasis Hostal where we had stayed before. Met up with some familiar faces, including Charly ( a photographer from Bristol) & Dippie once again. We also went to visit Linda & met her husband Pete (who had flown in on the sunday) & she invited us to stay at their house. We decided to move in on the Wednesday to give them a little more time together (they've been apart for a month !). So on the tuesday night, we went to dinner with Charly to a nice Thai restaurant, then we moved into Linda & Petes on Wednesday.

That evening, we  met up with Laurent (Lorenzo, as he's know here) and went out for dinner with him, then Lissa cooked a stupendous meal for us on the Thursday night....Yum !!

Friday we met up with Catherine & Michael once again as well as Alfredo, Sue, Charly & Linda & Pete. We all ended up going to "Cafe Nuit"  as a big group.......had a great pm. danced a wee bit with Alfredo & some other random geezer, then I saw the rather sexy waiter from the thai restaurant the other night. He smiled, waved & so I went over to say "Hola". Well........the rest is my business........ but it did involve him walking Liss & I home, and after Liss had gone in, I ended up snogging on the doorsteplike a 15 yr old !! hee !!!!!

The following day (Saturday) we had arranged to meet Sue in the Parque Central & to wait to meet up with Gene who was arriving in Granada that morning. Eventually, after 1.5 hours we saw this mop of curly hair & it was him !! Gave him a brief tour of the city & went up the bell tower of the Mercedez church..great views over the whole of Granada. Unfortunately, he didn't have too much time, but it was enough to say "Hola y Hasta Luego" !

So.........still in Ganada at the moment staying with Linda & Pete who have been wonderful hosts ! We are now  waiting for my packet to arrive from the UK  (my new camera) then we shall be heading up north to Estreli & Matagalpa. This weekend we are going to visit the Volcano Mombacho just to the South of here. Tuesday will then be our final farewell (well...till next time anyway !) to Granada & all our new friends here.

Great to hear all the news in detail Cag. So sorry to hear about your bag getting half inched. As you say - it could have been worse. Tried to explain to J what his Aunty does for a living.....I couldn't! Big kiss for you (and Liss) Miss you xx

Your whole trip sounds amazing. It must be wonderful to experience things (volcanoes, turtles, rain forest etc) that most people will only see on television. I can't imagine you, or Liss would ever want to return to... to.. a (relatively) boring existence back in the UK. PS. Have you got any snogging stories that involve Liss ... or don't you fancy her - no - you know what I mean, we only get the censored version direct from Liss. With Love and best wishes. Colin.
