Elowah Falls - Upper McCord Creek Falls

This hike was somewhat of a challenge and victory for me.  The hike book told me it was moderate, and until now "easy" was the name of the game.

But I was up for the challenge, and in a couple hours I managed to see both Elowah Falls and Upper McCord Creek Falls.

Elowah Falls is beautiful.  It was spring and the water was strong with lots of spray.  The rocks below the falls would be great picnicking grounds.

Back up the switchbacks and more switchbacks and some ledges with handrails and then finally the divided drop of upper McCord Creek falls.

Both picturesque.  Both seemingly uphill all the way.  Both worth it in their own way.
