Yamashiro

It was a Sunday afternoon, we went to Hollywood to check out
supposedly the best roast chicken in town at "Zhankou Chicken."
It was way beyond our expextations; best of all, it was a very affordable, no-tip environment.
To burn off the calories, we decided to check out Yamashiro on the
hilltop. 6 dollars were spent for mandatory valet parking. Kenny took
some nice pictures of the panaromic Hollyhood at sunset, including the
600-year-old Japanese patoga. We couldn't get the table with views without reservation. Instead,
we got seated in the lounge, which did not offer too much for
non-alcoholic drinkers. The price was a little bit on the expensive
side for what they offered, especially without the view. The
value-price Zankou Chicken didn't help in justifying for the drinks
either. Restrooms are pretty nice though. Then we just took off.
I think if we had made reservation ahead of time and weren't full
from the chicken, we would have had a great time there. So maybe next
time.
