Weekend in Valencia

This was an absolutely wondeful weekend. I went with my friend Annie S. and we stayed in the most amazing hostal. I couldn´t get enough of the international comradery. It made me look forward to all the hostals that I have in my future.

While in Valencia we did the following:

A great weekend in Valencia.

- Friday we tried to go find the beach. You´d think this would be easy since it´s the ocean, but we had problems. You know you´re a torist when you need to ask where an ocean is and you know you´re lost when the woman in the store has no idea. We got their eventually and it was beautiful. We met an Australian girl who we hung out with for the rest of the night.

- The next day we went to museums, cathedrals and to a huge market. The market was my favorite. It´s housed in a massive glass building with a blue ceiling. The smells and colors and prices...wow.

- At night we cooked dinner in the hostal and went to a parade where we met 2 Germans. The parade was completely political which was a change for me. I liked it though. After the fire works at 1am we hit the sack.

- Over all it was an amazing trip and I hope to have many more like it.
