Got to "sleep in" until 8am. (I usually get up later than that for work!) Then it was up, ready and packed. I headed to the shops for some breakfast and $. Then a quick detour to a little shop. I ended up getting another sarong and the lady didn't have enough change for me and gave me a big bar of coconut soap to make up for it.
I then went to the dive shop to have a cup of tea with Seffo. He showed me his ray sting wound. yuck! I stamped my dive log and ordered my DVD of the shark dive. A little while later I walked back to the Safari Club and paid my bill and got my bag. I was told to go stand by the road and wave down a bus going to Suva....which could be anytime between now and 1hour!! Gotta love Fiji time! While I was waiting for a bus to come by one of the Pacific Harbour policemen came up and was hitting on me. I didn't quite know what to do but as we were walking back to the police station a bus came by and I jumped on and was out of there!
The view of the Somosomo Strait from my room is gorgeous

The little "I-think-I can" buses are interesting. The bus to Suva took about an hour and then the bus to Nausori took another hour. 2 guys helped me find a taxi to the airport. The entire trip cost me about $10. Bargain! No lunch for me today since I was worried about missing my plane (silly me) and the cafe at the airport was closed.
The plane was flying on Fiji Time as well and we boarded about 45 mins late. The plane was tiny and the captain was also our air host as he gave our safety instructions and then sat down in his seat. I slept most of the way to Savusavu, but the flight to Taveuni Island was about 15 mins. Beautiful views of the islands.

Once on land I jumped in a van to the resort. The drive was amazing! The whole is very lush and beautiful. The resort is also quite nice too and I have the 4 bed dorm room all to myself again! The view of the Somosomo Strait from my room is gorgeous with the grass hut and torches burning at night. I love Fiji to bits!!
Dinner was very nice but very expensive but its Sunday and everything is closed so i didn't have a choice. I had a dish called Kokoda. A traditional Fijian dish that has veggies, coconut and lime with fish cubes. Its interesting tasting. Tangy. I also had Lamb Shisk Kebab that was very nice with potato, corn and greens...I forget which greens they were but they were better than spinach! The bread rolls were also very yummy! I shoveled it all in. After missing dinner last night and lunch today I was starving.
