If Nothing Else, Just Get the Hot Dogs!

This town is one of the more beautiful we have been to in a while.  It has buildings still in great condition but from long ago, and people that are very friendly to tourists.  One of the best parts about the city was the hot dogs that were equipped with a real sausage and an amazing mustard sauce.  The best!

The first day we had in town consisted of us walking around and discovering all that Vienna housed.  While trying to find the free Vienna Boys Choir Sunday morning singing that we ended up missing by a few hours, we came upon the main palace which was incredible.  A huge building, elegantly painted and with beautiful surrounding gardens and grounds.  We then headed onto the outskirts, outside the ring road, where we found a some more renaissance styled buildings and another great looking church.  It ended up we couldn't get into the other church so we went for some Viennese coffee.  We then headed back towards a cathedral right in the middle of downtown which was decorated in every corner and every square inch that could be, although it was well done.

The next day Dan and I took a look at the UBER-interactive Music and sound museum while the other guys tried to get into another museum unsuccessfully.  The sound museum, Haus der Musik, turned out to be one the the oddest museums we have been too but had tons to do at the same time.  You could do everything from conducting an orchestra to recording your own sounds?  All in all it was an amazingly fun place and didn´t get to finish it all in the time we had.  We then met back up with the others and took a tour of the Catacombs under the church.  Nothing like the Paris Catacombs but still a  worthy visit.

The rest of the time in Vienna was spent walking around and looking at the buildings and everything else since it is more of a wandering city, we decided, but still very beautiful.
