We made up for yesterday with an action packed day. Please to say blue sky, sunny and hot today. We started the day with the Maid Of The Mist boat tour which takes you right along side the US Falls and then right into the middle of the Horsehoe Falls. This was an amazing experience, the views of the falls was brilliant and to get so close to something so powerful. Still managed to get soaked from all of the spray (even with the fetching blue poncho's you were given!) After the boat tour we sat on a bench overlooking a large pond in Niagara Park. Here we ate lunch, played some cards (andy sailed into a 6 game lead!) and read for a while. We then walked to Table Rock Point and bought our admission tickets for "Behind The Falls". Following our Tim Horton's doughnut and muffin fix (we're getting addicted!) we returned to the park to resumme the card battle. Andy befriended a squirell!!! At 4:40 we went on the Behind The Falls tour which took us down through tunnels under the river and then we stood in tunnels right under the Horseshoe Falls and looked out through the falls. The power is immense, apparently in summer 154 million litres of water falls every minute! We then came out to the foot of Horseshoe Falls right by the side of it on an observation deck which was surreal. As you may have guessed we took lots of picturesand again got soaked! In the evening we booked our L.A hostel and updated this web page. After we had eaten we took a short walk to see the falls lit up for one last time.
