Canberra to Sydney

Sam, a lady that I work with, sent me home about an hour early today. It was quite lucky that she did so I had time to go to the shops and get some little odds and ends that I needed for the trip. I also found out that I have a lot less money than I was figuring on too. Which is no good.That stressed me out a bit.   My friend Tom picked me up from my house and took me to the bus station, which was really nice of him and saved me about $15 in cab fare.   The bus was a long, boring, uneventful  3 hour journey to Sydney. Got to Sydney and walked down the street a few blocks from Central train station to my hostel. I'm staying at the Wake Up! Hostel at the corner of Pitt St and George St in Sydney. Its a very nice hostel. Much better than the YHA I had stayed at before.   I have heard lots of American accents here and talked to a couple from Massachusettes for awhile. I'm in a 10 share dorm but the room is so huge that everyone has enough space.   Can't wait for tomorrow to get to Fiji and start checking the place out! Didn't do anything in Sydney since I have a very early start. I have to be at the airport before 6:30am.  

The bus was a long, boring, uneventful 3 hour journey to Sydney.
