Glasgow, Scotland

Perhaps a visit with Jed would be in order - I think she is still living there, will check with Big. Reading from Lonely Planet's Europe on a Shoestring I see that there are some interesting places to be seen, including the Glasgow Necropolis:

City of the Dead...oooooooh "like no other cemetary in Scotland with its host of giant Victorian tombs built to house the great and good in the afterlife. A fascinating glimpse into the vanity of a bygone age, there are great city views from between the crooked headstones" (Lonely Planet).

To aid the recovery from the pints we drink while we are there, a visit to Fresh

could be in need - a fresh juice bar which is the favourite haunt of Australian backpackers...why? you may ask...well, it's MORNING AFTER BEVERAGE is apparently a concoction that will cure the memory of the previous night's binge...sounds good to me.

The List is apparently the thing to see if you want to know what's on... but I'm reading that King Tut's Wah Wah Hut is

a popular live music pup which Oasis and Radiohead started out. It apparently has good and low cost and vego food, and live gigs every night.

What more could you want?!
