Welcome to my travel blog! This is new to me, so bear with me. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated! I will be using this to replace the mass e-mail as my form of communication for the next little while. I'll try to post what we've been up to wherever we can find internet, and upload some pictures! If you're reading this, you have the link, so save it (or not) into your favourites and you can check it (or not) whenever you want. No obligation!
Hard to believe that our year-long contract is up in 2 days. We've been doing the same thing day in and day out(Monday to Friday) that it doesn't feel real that it could be over so soon. And because it doesn't feel quite real yet, I have hardly even started to organize/pack. Some of you who know me pretty well might recognize this post as a well-intentioned procrastination tactic!!
All good things must come to an end (do they though?!)

Leaving is bittersweet. Obviously we are very excited about the big trip we are 4 sleeps away from heading out on, but it's sad to leave this life that I've enjoyed so much, and I'm going to miss all my kids :(
All good things must come to an end (do they though?!), but at least at the end of this one, we have a fabulous adventure waiting for us... Thursday at 10:15am we fly to Hanoi in Vietnam. We'll spend 2 weeks in Vietnam, 5 days in Cambodia, 12 days in Thailand, ~20 days in Malaysia and Singapore and 3 weeks in Australia. We'll hop back to Seoul (hop=fly for 11 hours!) before we skip back to Canada (skip=fly for 20 hours!!), and jump into our beds at home for the first time in 15 months on May 10th if all goes according to plan.

If you want to comment, or fill me in on what's going on in your life (please do!), I'd love to hear from you. You can post comments about the journal/our trip on this site, and e-mail me about anything else! I can't promise individual e-mails, but if you try, I'll try!
With this entry I'll post a few pics that touch on some good/funny times from our stay here. Thanks for all your support while we've been so far away from home! It really helped me a lot!
