Ralph Beth Downunder has visited no places in Christchurch

First thing this morning we walked over and picked up a rental car. What a new and exciting experience it was to be driving on the opposite side of the road compared to what we have done all our lives. Ralph only got the signal light and the windshield wiper switch confused a few times but soon got the hang of it. We experienced down town Christchurch by taking a scenic Tram ride and also punting the Avon River. We also visited the International Antarctic Centre and experienced an Antarctic blizzard (not much different than an Alberta blizzard). We drove to Sumner beach and enjoyed watching a group of young people taking surfing lessons.
