Wow! PRAGUE WAS AMAZING! I loved it. We had a bit of a time getting

there though. We spent one day in Warsaw. Woops I forgot to put that on

Can't help but love Prague!

my map, but we were only there 1 day, so I don't know if it counts.

Warsaw wasn't that exciting, I liked Krakow more.

We were planning on taking the night bus but there wasn't one for two

days, so we took the infamous night train. We had heard so much about

the gassings on this train that we decided the best thing to do was to

get a 3 person sleeper car. We still hid most of our valuables. My bra

and underwear were probably worth 800 dollars with all the cash and

credit cards hidden in them. Thank goodness nothing did happen.

Prague is an amazingly beautiful city with a spiffy exchange rate at

the moment. We spent the first day walking around and seeing the

castle. It was also a lucky day for the 3 of us, so we were extra

cheerful. We bought tickets to see this concert with some of the

members of the Prauge symphany orchestra, which Sarah had seen and said

were mind blowing. Sadly, they weren't and all three of us fell asleep

at different times. Oh well.

The next day we went to the national museum after meeting a nice

Georgian guy at breakfast. The museum was a bust, for me at least. I

don't put much interest in rocks and stuffed animals. Then we walked

around some more, saw a bit of old town. That night we went to dinner

with Ben (breakfast guy) who happens to play ultimate too! We had a

fabulous czech dinner and after some of us rushed to see this odd

theater of the absurd, which was a mix of modern dance with black

lights and pantomiming. Odd but cool.

We all went out that night to a beer garden with 2 English gals (one who plays ultimate too!) and an Aussie guy.

Next day we explored more of old town and picked up some bus tickets

for my gals. That night we went clubbing as a send off. I also was able

to throw a little in a park with the two other players. I didn't suck

as much as I thought I would~! I ended up watching the sun rise from

the old beautiful bridge. A great way to end a chapter of the journey.

Off to France!
