It wouldn't be a travel day without rain, and that it did as we squeezed the remaining items into the car and pickup and headed off toward Colorado via Idaho. {How did we get so much stuff?} After 3 months in Pendleton, OR. it was once again time to move onto the next assignment, this time in Alamosa, Colorado. It was sad to leave, we had made some nice new friends, the job was great, and the town a wonderful place to live. In the three months we were there we had maybe 4 days of rain (this day being one of them). It was perfect weather! It's definitely something we will look back into after this travel thing is all said and done, whenever that might be.

Traveling southeast through Oregon toward Idaho, passing through Baker City we started to see some semblance of mountains, that we had sorely missed. However that was short lived as heading into Idaho it flattens out again :(  Origninally thinking it would only take us 6 hrs to get to our first stop in Burley, ID wound up taking us 8! A long day for all of us. We settled into Burley at our new "home away from home" none other than the Super 8 and rested for our next leg... onto Green River, UT.
