This was a suprising little stop. We origanally came here just to fly out, however Tampere really was worth a visit. We stayed in a great hostel which had its own balcony overlooking one of the most beautiful fairytale like churches we have seen so far. We spent our time wandering the streets, shopping and trying our luck as a spy at the spy museum. We were lucky that Tampere had its own Golden Rax - a quaint little all you can eat franchise restuarant. We went out to the worst airport ever and had to kill time before we made our way back to the UK. We were filled with mixed emotions -sadness at leaving the wonderful Finland but great excitement to see Davids parents.
