The eastern end of Wyoming is an area of rolling treeless hills... It looks bleak to us easterners. The city of Laramie fits into this perfectly. The buildings are low, and there is no urban skyline. But the shops are interesting and friendly. We visited a western-wear store in town, and enjoyed the conversation immensely.
