Woke up after 4 hours sleep -a hangover and spent next hour trying to put together the events of the previous night.
We purchased our cheapest brekfast to date - just $2.50 for bacon and eggs - hygeine conditions not too good but food ok. Warrior had his camera recharged at local camera shop and was caught in conversation with customers who spotted the bikes at Crater Lake the previous day - this talking is getting hard work.
Mount Lassen - what a Mountain!

Left town passed the Court Hous ewhere one of our conversants of the previous night was attending at 9.00am!
The road for the next 2 hours was very average, but later we arrived at the volcanic Mount Lassen- after Slasher miissed the turnoff and could be stopped for 5 miles!
This mountain is spectacular - a recent volcanic activity left this mountain looking like one big rockery - large boulders on the surface with wonderful green plants, trees interspersed. The curled road went up to 7,000 feet - deer were seen and wonderful meadows and river streams made stunning impressions - This was possibly the best mountain visited so far.

After Lassen we run out of time and energy and went down to Chester where we were quoted $220 for a night - we declined and was immediately approached by a young lady across the street who offered us $90 for the same services- bizzarly we accepted and there was even a free bike washing area.
No pubs, bars or alchahol could be foun in the town that night - we ended up in a milk bar and had a very early night - Warrior was given the annexxed room adjoining the main bedroom - door was closed and everyone said they had a good nights sleep without using the duck tape or ear plugs!
