A spa and 4 hours

From 2 Months in Europe in Wiesbaden, Germany on May 23 '08

So I spent about 4 hours here, mostly in search of the biggest cuckoo clock in Europe. but alas my search was in vain as I didn't find it. It was Saturday and the sqaures were packed full of people checking out the market stalls. There was some children's event happening with the German equivilant of HiFive and The Wriggles (eternally happy ozzies on children's morning tv). I decided to chill out at the park for a bit, with the fountains and bask in the sun (apart from the 2 days in Antwerp the weather has been great, nice and sunny).

Wiesbaden has a spa, which I am tempted to check out (I really wanted to do the one in Aachen as it was recommended to me, but didn't have enough time, maybe some other day). I don't though as I brought no appropraite clothing with me.

Not much to say about Wiesbaden other than it has the usual small town charm. old builings, with the usual churchs and museums in the list of things to see and do (I'm museum and churched out). It was nice to see all the local people about, being Saturday and all. And from what I here, probably worth just going for the spa alone.
