Olympia, WA

So I eventually arrive in Olympia and the hotel is not too bad, thankfully it is in a lovely location, overlooking a lake and really is stunning. The weather eventually cleared up although it remained cold.

Work was good and had a good time with the chap onsite, mainly a consulting role and that is always good. We had a trip up to Tacoma too to see another site and how they are doing things. Good to have a bit of a road trip.

A very uneventful week really and kind of boring but good time to catch up on other bits and pieces and do some paperwork and send emails that are long overdue.

I did venture into the town one of the days and really was very unimpressed, not such a great place for a “State Capital” Oh well it happens I suppose. I know I am coming back to maybe I can look around a little more and see if I just missed something… we’ll see, but as ever I will not hold my breath.
