the final leg

on wednesday, we visited an old town called Loulé. It was rather breezy, so it was a quick walk around the area. We had a look around the market then some of the small streets with shops down them.

we spent most of the afternoon speaking to one of the reps on site while dad went on a nature trail.

On Wednesday night we visit a restaurant called The Lemon Tree and the food was delicious.

On Thursday, we checked out. It was all going well until about 9.45 when I decided to fall down the stairs in the apartment. I've now got a bruised leg, arm, back and bottom, but never mind.

We visited the on site doctors (there was a British one) who said i was bruised but otherwise fine. It cost me €80 for a consultation.

The flight home was ok, a little boring and uncomfortable but it had to be done.

Would I go to Portugal again? Possibly, but I may go to another area as the resort we were in was a little out in the middle of nowhere and you definitely need a car if you want to travel.
