GREAT PLACE! Darci from the state of N.M. had been calling us about Cottonwood Campground N.M., again at the top corner of N.M. A long drive to get back up there from The Rose Canyon mess. Ran by the State of N.M. with Steve, James, Jeff and many others that did everything to make our stay as great as possible.

Some sites are reservations. Some are first come first serve. Many sites with full hookups. There is a dump station, bathrooms that they clean every day. Along the river with great fishing and a huge day use area. They pretty much turned the place over to us and we made more money than they ever had! By over 33%.  The campers were so happy to see us and make sure everything ran smoothly!

Cottonwood Campground

Only 2 problems arosed and when we called it was taken care of quickly! Only things you have to be prepared for is the heat 115 most days with thunder and lighting storms often. The bugs will eat you up alive, we wore long sleeves and pants.

We had a great Camp Host site with a wooden pation, lawn and garden. All the electric, water, sewer at the site. Jeff came out and cut the tree some so our satellite system worked well. A garage with riding lawn mower, which I never used, and a gator for getting around the park. Everyday they came out and made sure everything was clean, the gator had gas and asked for problems. Gave us the reservations slips. Also came out durning the afternoon and when I did my 10 pm round, usually at least one of the Rangers were also doing a round. Very safe feeling here!

This is one place we loved! No pay but the experiance was worth all the money we spent getting there! See our site at http://www.squidoo.com/Bid4Stuff  this is one place we will never forget!
