By private van it takes us two hours, two car ferries and one movie to reach our hotel, The Buri Tara in Krabi. Our hotel room has a balcony with a ladder leading into the pool. What a unique idea. There are two beaches in the area. One is for the tourists and one is for the local people. There are many massage huts on the tourist beach and at the very end of the beach there are wild monkeys. Lots of shops for the last minute souvenirs. Thankfully we are able to send back one large backpack with Ed and Darlene. This will lighten our load for the trip to Cambodia and Vietnam.
