- We woke up to a cold and windy morning but as our prayers were answered we had a neighboring camper so all was nice and safe. We drove the coastal route, which in turn again showed us some amazing aqua blue waters but was way to slow. We stopped in Pescara and found a supermarket, Haray!! We were so excited to stock up on food and as we got to the checkout, the card didn’t work!! So we left a full trolley of shopping, had a chuckle then moved onto the next supermarket. We actually bought food this time using a different card then headed for the freeway. The rest of the day was spent driving up the coast on a crappy rainy day. We found our camp spot around 4:30ish and relaxed for a good hour or so. We decided to go for a walk to hopefully get a fresh lasagna dinner. No go… so basically, we walked for ages in the freezing cold to pick up some disappointing Italian style kebab thing!! Haha, not our most prosperous day but still plenty of laughs. Bring on country number 12 tomorrow… Slovenia.
