Having to make a trip to Louisville several times, I got to tour the town a tad, stay in a few comfy hotels and climb at the local gym. It's a nice break from Beattyville and Richmond, but it's far (2 hours or so). If in the area, consider the Mohammed Ali museum and the Sluggers museum and factory.
A far destination worth the visit if in the area
