Today we traveled to the Neuschwanstein Castle near Fussen.
It was very BIG!!! You were not allowed to take any pictures of the inside, but you could take as many as you wanted of the outside.
Today we traveled to the Neuschwanstein Castle near Fussen.
There were a ton of people there, which I thought was weird for a Sunday. We got to go on the English guided tour which helped a lot. Ulrich was very good at translating and explaining the different rooms.

Only about six rooms were fully complete that were included on the tour. This included some servant quarters, singing hall, and others. King Ludwig did not get to see a concert in the Singing Hall, because they found him dead with his shrink and it is still unknown how they both died.
There were a lot of smaller waterfalls near the castle and as you walk up and down the half mile to and from the castle.
And when you are finally done with the tour you have to go through at least two giftshops. And past three more before you get to your car. Overkill. And by the way before you want to leave the parking lot, make sure you go to this little building to pay for parking. Otherwise the not-very-nice attendant will yell at you.

Once again.... Motorcyclists over here are crazy. They have serious deathwishes.
