Back in San Jose for one night

After leaving at 6am this morning i finally arrived at the hostel at 1pm, which was recommended to me by a lot of people and its really nice for five pounds a night. In the afternoon i decided to check out San Pedro Mall, a bit like Lakeside and i thought wow, a bit of retail therapy!!!

until the thunderstorm came and there was a powercut, and all the shops closed  as i wa unable to  change my travellers cheques anyway!

i then decided to get a taxi to ASVO office- the organisation who arranges all the work placements and stuff and sorted out some paperwork and got a free t shirt!!

and then randomly decided to look around the markets, as i wanted to go to the gold mining museum but it was too late. got a nice few bits and bobs, i was hoping to do some bartering but it didnt seem that kind of place.

by the time i left there it was getting dark so i thought id get a taxi back to the hostel. we have just discovered that this hostel has hot water omg this is amazing!!!

me and my room mate then decided to go to kfc as we were hungry and an early night for me as im off tomorrow again on another 6am bus ride up to la fortuna, the active volcano!!and my next hostel has a swimming pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!
