Maritime Museum of the Atlantic is a very interesting museum.

Models of fishing schooners, ocean liners, military ships, etc. as well as tools, sextants, foghorns and other marine artifacts are presented.  The displays are in galleries such as the days of sail, the age of steam, North Atlantic Conveys, etc.

A large display of artifacts from the Titanic are presented in special wing of the museum.

Also the 1917 explosion of the explosives transport in the Halifax harbour is shown.  There were about 2,000 people killed and a good part of the Halifax harbour was destroyed.  The explosion was the biggest until Hiroshima.
