Krabbi and Koh phi phi
From 'Finding myself' in Ko Phi Phi Don, Thailand on Sep 14 '08
Well after our fun in Koh Tao we found out that we couldn't go to the Full Moon Party in koh pahn yang. (or whatever it is called) becasue we had left it too late to book. So in a sulky sulk we packed and travelled an entire day to the west coast and further south to go visit Ko Phi Phi. (Krabbi is mentioned because on the way we had a night in Krabbi). In Krabbi we had a few beers and visited the night market. In which I had a BBQ fish (potentiolly catfish) and then loads of crap of a street seller. There was no way my sausage was made of any kind of meat I've had before and the "chicken" was bright red. In the morning we left for Ko Phi Phi.
Ko Phi Phi is the closest I have ever come to a tropical paradise. As the boat came into it we could see loads of fish in the completely clear water and the sands were white and soft. We took a look about, ate and played in the sea and on the beach. As an island it did smell a bit and the after effects of a tsunami where VERY present.
The next day we went onto the beach and hired Kiyaks for a few hours in which we paddled out and around the rocks to find an even nicer beach?! The beach was completely deserted and beautiful! Palm trees and white sands and all that stuff. That night we got absolutly twatted and ended up sat on a beach at half five in the morning. In fact, I think I should point out that this has become quite a regular occurance! Its great going out to beach bars and travellers clubs becasue everyone there is friendly and easy to meet. Its just great.
Right. The next part will involve leaving Thailand. I've already done that but I need the toilet so bad its unbeleiveable. In a bit! tim xx
