After finaly getting to hostel at 2am, I met up with Cody the next day and we decided to go to Bruge which we both have heard a lot about. We took the train to Bruge, and when we were outside of the train station we met a American studying in London and a Londoner. Basically we hung out for the entire day.

One of the coolest things that we did was go to the top of the church bell tower (about 311 steps). However the cool thing about this church was that there was a guy who was playing the bells, a couple of levels down from the top. The view from the top of the church was amazing.

It rained for a good portion of the day, which meant that we were soaked. A cool thing about Bruge is that they are known for their canals, and it has been called the Venice of Northern Europe (although I think Amsterdam is a better example of this). Anyway it was a fun trip to Bruge. At the end of the day we returned to Brussels, and had a pretty low key night.
