an update from clareeeeee :)

oopsie daisy...a little bit of updating needs to be done i think! i keep beginning to right this and then the computer freezes or something so i have to keep re-starting...tis a tad annoying! im fine..iv been having lots of fun and keeping very busy. ive been to a couple of parties in one of the fraternity houses which are really fun..everyone keeps making me talk to their friends on the phone so they can hear my accent!

i have signed up for all my classes now...they start properly tomorrow.-im looking forward to them starting in a way cos i have chosen some interesting sounding classes but then i know the work will properly begin and it'll get stressful! i ordered all my books too...abit expensive-expecially as my student loan from england doesnt come through for about a month! oooo well!

on  saturday, tania and i got up very early and made our way to the marshall center-which is the student union kinda place. we signed up to do this 'community plunge' we got free bagels for breakfast-they were ammmmmazing and then we all got lifts to the community center. we were given gloves/bin bags and a map and we had to go around the streets and pick up litter...ok so its not the nicest job but then it isnt meant to be nice, is it. it was a good way to see abit of the area and meet some new ppl though which is always good!

im sitting at my desk in the dark at the moment-trying to type! its 10am on sunday morning and i cant sleep any more. -my room mate 'renee' is here now though so ive got to be fair and let her sleep! what is quite handy though, is that she has bought loads to put in her room...tv, fridge,microwave etc...shes said i can use them whenever (i was only allowed 50kg of stuff on the plane...thats a bit hard when you're awway for a year!)

this morning..if everyone wakes up!...we're hopefully heading across the street to busch gardens..im sooo excited about that! :) i have a floor meeting at 6.30 tonight though so i have to make sure im back!

righteo, im going to go and have a shower and get myself ready! i hope everyones good and happy :)
