I am traveling around Asia for the summer care of a very kind cousin of mine. I have never enjoyed an 'all expense paid' anything so I am living it up. I've been in Seoul for 2 weeks now and it has been quite interesting. I have a newfound appreciation for all that my parents endured when they came to the United States from Mexico. Not knowing English must have been daunting; in my case, my lack of Korean has made me look inwards since I cannot converse with 99% of the people around me.
Next week I will be going to Beijing and from there I plan on visiting friends in Tokyo. This has been an amazing trip thus far and I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
