Driving to Loch Ness

Finally the sun is shining!!!  Martin promised a treat this morning, as the weather was so great, we ventured to a quaint little pebble beach, with perfectly round pebbles, perfect for skimming!  We stayed for a while, the boys had some competitions on who could bounce the stones the longest... and then we headed to yet another beautiful waterfall.  This time it was much more pleasant because the sun was shining, but we still had the advantage of the previous days of water to fill the falls.  It was magnificent to say the least!

Arrived in Loch Ness just in time to see a show put on by a local storyteller, he showed us what it was like to live in Scotland a couple of hundred years ago.  It was pretty frightening the way they lived, very wet and cold and lots of hard work.

Stayed at a great little hostel called "Morags" which is the name of another monster in a Loch not far from Loch Ness.
