On friday we drove to the end of the road we were staying on (the end was only 500 m away) and Carlos out neibouhr stoped us and shouwed us howling monkeys on the property he workes on. He called them Congos, he said becouse they are black. It was the whole family. Then he showed us his farm. The land belongs to an american dude and he works on it and grows food for his family. He showed us all the plants (pineapple, papaia, yuca, coca tree, coffe tree and so many more) It was soo cool. I had no idea pineapple grew in the ground or that yuca is a little bush, I thought it't more like potatos.

I took a picture of him. I love local people they are soo nice!

Then we didn't really know what to do, the volcano was covered with clouds, so we drove around to see what we can find. Well, we found a Sky adventure thing. The little sky tram takes you up into the jugle mountains and then you zip down 7 lines, the longest 700m. Gotta be the scariest thing I've ever done. You basucally fly all by your self on top of the wild forest.... and really fast... crazy!

I felt a little guilty doing something so touristy and probaly really disturbing for the wild life, but I don't think we'll get to do it ever again, so we did it. It's defenetly good for the economy of Costa Rica. It employs so many locals.

Russ started to really like driving 4X4 on the crazy dirt roads, so we drove to El Castillo. And found Butterfly Conservatory, Looked really cool, so we desided to go the next day.

It was totally amaizine

We got John (volonteer from the states) to walk us around and to explane everything to us.

The glass wing butterfly (see pic) lives in deep forest and feeds by sucking protein out of dead bugs.. Apperently lives really long.. 8 month or so. (pais off to suck the food out of others)
