Saw many castles in Germany!

We left Lucerne and had one of our usual LONG drive days! We started for the Rhine valley river, I slept for a while and Missy read, it took us until pretty much dinner time to get into the valley where we were going to stay but It was so pretty! As we took our drive along the rhine river we saw so many castles it was just fun and amazing! We stopped in a little city that makes the German beer steins and has the biggest coo coo clock in the world. We took a ferry across the river, well we stayed in a really gorgeous area with the river in front of us and we could see some castles on the hills, our hotel had no ac which KILLED ME! But we ended up naming it “hotel hell”… details in a moment. We had a nice dinner followed by wanting to swim but as I was putting my toe into the water and a lady came in and said “pool is closed machine in now”.. I guess you just have to understand things sound really funny in different accents. So we got dressed and decided to take a walk next to the Rhine river… haha but guss this as we were walking along there came an area that you could go down to the actual river and ….dun dun dun there was a VAN parked DOWN BY THE RIVER!! After that missy and I joined our friends at a bar sat down slapped our hand onto the counter and said… “give me a sprite!” Then we left and went to our room here is where hotel hell comes into play. We had seen lots of spiders along the river and I had just been a little freaked out when we went to our room. I got in the shower and missy informed me that she had just killed a HUGE hairy spider on our ceiling. I was a little shooken up but then when I was trying to dry my hair our dryer broke so reception gave me the key to another room, I went in there and dried my hair but as I went to leave there were two huge spiders right by the door, one was directly above my head and the other was to the side of the door… I don’t know whats wrong with me but I start imagining just about every possible circumstance that could happen and it seriously took me 3 minutes to get enough courage to run through the door, so I went in our room and asked missy to go shut and lock the door of that room… I saw one on our ceiling again at that point, she killed it then went and locked the door… when we went back in our room Missy went to kill the GINORMOUS spider above our bed and when she jumped to kill it, it dropped on my pillow and ran and hid, so here we are like one in the morning screaming and jumping around. There were mosquitos all over the ceiling and little tears in my sheets made me thing bed bugs but by the time I went to sleep (which was hard because of the sauna we had created by no air con and the windows shut to prevent more bugs from entering I slept on top of the covers curled up i a ball and was scared for the results in the morning, heres the thing, I don't think I got bit at all! in the morning ants had moved some chips we had into like this straight line by a carpet...IT WAS GROSS
