We flew in and I nearly freaked out when I saw the crystal clear water surrounding the islands. When we arrived at the airport we were not only greated by 94 degree weather, but also a Bahamian band. So we walk out to get our shuttle and 5 guys run to you and grab your bags and just run away. Here I am hot and scared and confused, but 20mins later our bags were in the hotel lobby. I was really scared they weren't coming either. So we arrive at the Radisson Cable Beach, we walk in the room and for some strange reason my leg is squirting out blood from a mysterious scratch. Kelly and myself like little 5 year olds run outside and start freaking out, we throw our bathing suits on and swim. Let me tell you the Radisson had the coolest pools and the best beach. Actually when I went into the ocean I got stung by a jellyfish, but that's okay I was just excited to actually be there. At dinner we had the Mahi Mahi which was excellent and learned about Bahamian lemonade. At that point I was still dealing with my shock issue of actually being there. We went to the casino and the Marriott bar and did some gambling, I broke even. We then got some free late night pizza. There was a DJ in the lobby so it was really cool. That night we discovered out our bathroom created a lake effect and when you stepped out from it you were nearly drowning in water. It was pretty nasty. Besides the pool of water the room was pretty nice. The next day we swam all day, tried to snorkle, but went on the aqua bikes instead, went gambling, did late night swimming, and pizza again.

Later in the week we jet skiied, Kel drove and at first I was scared for my life. We went into Nassau to do some shopping, the Straw Market is very interesting, but people are at you 24/7. We came back and swam, gambled, listened to barside music, and drank too many Bahama Mamas. I really liked the hotel here and it was a good time, but for the rest of the week we were headed to the Atlantis.

Crystal clear amazing beaches
