After some rather uneventful time in Christchurch and then Kaikoura (again no dolphin swimming, but i did have a lovely meal!), I made my way from Kaikoura to get the ferry from Picton to Wellington..On the ferry over i met two guys and they took me in their van to BASE (my hostel) and picked me back up when i was all done up ready to go out..We went to a couple of bars, and then the guys decided they should head off because they were leaving early in the morning. I wasnt ready to go home yet, so i carried on having a drink with some other guys at the bar.  We kept going out, and eventually i became curious when people kept having their photos taken with them..turned out they were famous NZ cricketers! (To me they were just normal guys on a stag night!) After i headed home at about 4am..oops! I woke up the next day and went out to the National NZ musuem.  It was huge, and really interactive so it was lots of fun.  After that i went to see a movie with some people in my dorm room and then after changing, went out with a guy i met in Kaikoura for a couple of drinks.

The day after i finished up at the museum and took a walk around the harbour (it was gorgeous weather so i was in shorts).  I got some lunch and during it got talking to one of the men working there, who asked if i wanted  to go for dinner that night since it was my last night in Wellington! I agreed, and met Jimmy later on at the same place. We had dinner then went to a couple of bars, one which was especially great called the Hawthorne Lounge, really small and exclusive, only about 20/30 people could fit in with lots of lovely lovely cocktails to drink up.  The next day i had to catch a bus to go to Roturua, so i said goodnight to Jimmy and went home for an earlyish nights rest.
