So I arrived in Geneva, alone. My friends were supposed to be waiting for me when I got off the plane, but they had missed their plane from Barcelona and weren't going to be arriving until that night. I went into the city, found my hostel and decided to wander around. I came across the best store ever! It was called AMERICAN MARKET! I found a jar of Skippy peanut butter and a can of A&W Rootbeer. Can we just say heaven? Who cares that I spent an outrageous of swiss francs.

After Drew, Danny and Bethany finally arrived it was pretty late so we just hung out because we had an early train the next day to Zermatt. The boys are big ski buffs and it was their one "can't be nixed" place for the trip. We had to change trains a few times but it was completely worth it. The climb into the Alps was beautiful. Little towns here and there, some little waterfalls, gorgeous.

We arrived in Zermatt in the early afternoon. Got settled in and decided to walk around town some. That took about ten minutes considering it is such a small town. There was an amazing view of the Matterhorn from the front door of our hostel.  We picniced in its shadow everyday, because for being in the mountains it was amazingly warm.  The next day Bethany and I lazed around going shopping and just basically having fun, you know with billygoats and such. HAHA just kidding. Remember to ask me about the scarf lady whenever I see you! It is much to long of a story to be told on this. Basically Zermatt was a lie low stop, which worked for me. It was beautiful, I got to relax, take in the scenery with some wine and fondue, because up next was Italy and we didn't stop running around once we hit that country!
