We left Melbourne in the pouring rain. Funny thing for a place that cries of drought we have had rain almost every night! Arrived in Bendigo late friday night, Gerben and Caroline had everything ready for us and the older kids had first dibs at sleeping in our new house. Their cats were not too impressed with the invasion of the Veenendaals.
It really was very dry here. Everyone recycles their grey water to water gardens and lawns. No one has been allowed to wash their vehicle for months and and the entire city is brown even the graveyard!
