Home day in Passias La Conception. Time for the kids to catch up on their journals between forays out to visit the goat or race boats down at the stream. We went shopping in St Hellier. The kids spent some pocket money on lego and Mum and Dad bought a Garmin Nuvi 250 GPS and a microphone for the computer so we can use Skype. It is amazing to be able to call home for about two cents a minute.
We had Moira’s brother and family over for afternoon tea. Gordon, Susie (originally from the Seychelles and has worked in the Seychelles embassy in London for many years and Chrissy (9 yrs old – goes to a regular French school here. When she began in pre-primary she spoke no French – and the teacher spoke no English) Williamson. They have a Gite (holiday home) joined onto their house and have renovated the old farmhouse. They have been living in Normandy for about 4-5 years and their farm is about 15 acres.
