Tokyo Disney Sea (you read that right) is Tokyo Disney Land's younger brother, currently celebrating its 5th birthday, and our destination for today.
Hiromi (called Romihi by her friends), Wakako's good friend and a generally delightful person, picked us up in the morning from Phil's house to drive us to Tokyo Disney Sea. The journey took longer than expected due to an accident on the highway and the generally shocking driving abilities of the other motorists (Romihi being the exception), clocking in at around 1.5 hours. Once we arrived, however, the delay was completely forgotten.
The Tower of Terror should probably be called the Tower of Lame

Tokyo Disney Sea, an amusement park if you hadn't guessed, is an incredible place. The amout of effort put on every detail is amazing, and its what keeps the illusion going even as you walk from ride to ride. The indiana jones ride is actually inside an incan temple that they (the park guys, not the Incas) built for the ride. In fact, the entire region of the park is all incan / south american themed. The entire Sinbad region is arab themed. There's an Italian area that really looks like Italy. The detail really is what makes this place special.

We went on pretty much every ride, including the latest additon: the Tower of Terror. Unfortunately, it should probably be called the Tower of Lame. Supposedly the scariest ride on the park, its just Space Probe 7 with buckets more ambiance and buckets less "oomph" when it came to the drop. Instead of dropping you from the top like SP7 did it drops you a little, then raises you and drops you, pauses, and drops you again. It was very anti-climactic. All in all, my favourite ride award is tied: best actual ride goes to Raging Spirits, but best ride / environment combo award goes to Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull.
