We left Munich at 10:00 am (late by our standards) and headed for the scenic and mountainous Tyrol, Austria. We all slept on the bus on our way to Austria, knowing we wouldnt make it through the day.Upon our arrval into Innsbruck we sang songs from he sound of music and annoyed anyone who didnt like that movie. In Austria, there were many snow-capped mountains and it was a perfect sunny day. In the early afternoon, we hung around Innsbruck. There, we got to see the Hapsburg's palace. You see the House of Hapsburg and the Austrian Empire ruled most of Europe for 700 years from 13th to 20th Centuries. Typically, the Hapsburgs marry the prince/princess of the other countries and you know the rest of the story. We settled down into the nice Café Sacher and enjoyed Apple strudel and hot Chocolate.

Innsbruck was a pretty scenic town.We climbed the Town hall, which had beautiful views of Innsbruck. We got to see the green and clean river running through the city with the snow peaked mountains in the background. Beautiful sight. That night we just went for a short walk around Innsbruck and went to bed early as we were departing at 7.00 am.
