apparently winter is not the best time to visit toronto. the harbor is beautiful though. nice mall area by the harbor with cafes and gift shops, also the new attraction is coming soon - some kind of the inuit (canadian indian tribe) history museum. nice second cup coffee shop with fireplace and cool paintings on the walls. i guess i'm becoming addicted to apple cider and blueberry muffins. :) the most interesting thing i found in the harbor is the music garden. again, it is closed in winter but it is a really beautiful garden set up in a way bethoven symphony would go. i am not exacly sure how it works but that's what it supposed to be. i guess they play different parts of the symphony in different parts of the garden which are designed according to the music atmosphere. well...pretty neat idea.

lake ontario itself is huge. there wasn't really a lake just ice all over...and on the other side you could see united states.

cn tower seems so huge when you look at it from downtown or from anywhere else in the city. but actually it appers to be pretty small. narrow. tall yes, i mean it's the tallest tower in the world, but i thought it's bigger. the elevator takes you up many miles above the ground. the whole toronto seems to be so close to you when you look at it from the sky. all the huge skyscrapers look like little toys. we were lucky to catch the sunset over toronto. it was wonderful watching the sunset from the sky.
