This morning I slept in until about 9:30am and it was really nice. I got up showered and checked my e-mail. Then I walked down to the South Australia Vistor and Travel Centre to figure out what to do in Adelaide. I found something called a Discover Adelaide Card, which cost $48 and it gives you 8 passes for 13 different attractions. Each attraction costs a different number of passes from one to four depending on what it is. I figure I will do the Adelaide Explorer City Tour, the Adelaide Zoo, and the Penfolds Magill Estate Winery, but I will just have to see what works the best. I also booked a wine tour at the Travel Centre for tomorrow. It is called the Barossa Valley Experience and it picks me up at 8:30am from the front of the hostel. It was only $64 and it goes to four winery and includes lunch, so it seemed like a pretty good deal. I also stopped by the metro station information to get bus and tram schedules to get to the different activities around the city. Next I booked my reservation for the Penfolds Magill Estate Winery for Sunday at 11am and I will have to catch a city bus to get there. Then I mailed some postcards I had picked up in Melbourne and called a few people back home. Sorry if I didn't call you, but I don't have everyone's numbers. If you e-mail me your number to my hotmail account, I will give you a call the next time I get another calling card. I have lost some weight since I've been on this trip. I think it is mainly because the food sucks and I only eat as much as I have to and the portions are much smaller here. I got a sandwich for a small cafe and headed back to the hostel. The Cricket Finals for the Commonwealth series was on and it was Australia versus England. I watched the last thirty overs and had about three pints of Carlton Draught. England ended up winning at the very end with only three balls left in the game. Some of the Australian were happy, because the three game is going to be played in Adelaide. I personally think that is stupid to be happy your team lost, so that you can go to a later game in the series. I did have a roommate that showed up in the room before dinner for about two minutes and then left again until about 1am. He came in went straight to sleep.
