After visiting Nurenberg it was time to leave the Poetry and travel by bus through the Bohemian Forest to Prague. I am in love with this city and it was by far my favorite destination on this tour. The people are proud of their new republic and very outgoing and friendly. We wandered the streets of Prague and visited St. Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle and Cathedral. We also went to see the famous Prague Astronomical Clock which when the skeleton rings the bell a window opens up and the 4 apostles appear.

The city of Prague is also catching on to the Christmas markets and I think they had close to the best I saw.

I took an afternoon and went to see Terezin the concentration camp that Hitler had set up in the Czech Republic. Many people did not want to go but I felt it was history and I should see it and honor those who were there. Sad, sad trip.

Our last night we went to say goodbye to Prague but I rubbed the statue on the bridge which means you will be back and I can't wait to visit again.
