Nothing Eventful

I haven't been doing much lately because I've been sick.  Recently my computer went a bit haywire so I had to reformat it.  Luckily I had everything backed up and most of the programs I use are available for free on the internet.  More recently, the dorm's internet network has been shutting down.  I haven't had internet for a couple of days again.  Now I'm at the school's library "studying."  Obviously there's no studying going on here.

Today I was supposed to go to Stonehenge but it snowed and delayed a lot of the trains.  I was going to go anyway but thought that I may not be able to get back, which would have been quite a predicament.  I think I'm going to try to go to Stonehenge on Sunday.  Tomorrow I have a tutorial for my engineering class to attend so I don't have my normal 4-day weekend.  Saturday, Butler is taking us all out to Blenheim Palace and Oxford.  Unfortunately we won't be going to Cambridge, but I assume both places are rather similar?

I had a football match with the GKT 3s this past Wednesday.  We played against University College London.  We had three players from the GKT 1s playing with us, but they didn't produce results that we would have liked.  In fact, one of them was absolute "bollocks!"  He reminded me of Daniel ("Chalupa") from Castle's soccer team back when I was a freshman.  I had an assist and stopped a break away opportunity for the opposition.  The score progression of the game went as follows: 0-1, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4, 3-5.  We lost 3-5 but we really should have won.  You know how "it's never the goalie's fault"?  Well this game proved that anecdote very wrong.  Our goalie could have EASILY stopped 3 of the goals from happening today.  One was a fault of our team captain messing around in the backfield, and their last goal was actually a decent shot that they deserved.  Our goalie wasn't the normal guy.  We brought one in from the GKT 5s, he was also bollocks, but sort of expected.

Anyway, I haven't done anything today but clean up my email account (over 200 emails) and look into seeing Lion King.  I think I will go tonight for 20 GBP.  I will probably be sitting at the top tier quite far back, but a friend recently sat their and told me that he loved it anyway.  I'll see theater the cheap-style and see how it goes.

Nothing is happening tomorrow, but I promise pictures from Blenheim Palace and Oxford on Saturday.  Stonehenge on Sunday, cross-fingers.

Food-wise, I've been doing pretty well.  The other day I had Indian-style chicken with yellow bell peppers.  I just fried the chicken and bell peppers together and poured on some Indian-style sauce that I bought at Sainsbury's.  I've also been having salads: romaine lettuce, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, chicken, and salad dressing, parmesan cheese as well.

Tonight will be chicken and pasta with some salad on the side.
