Cardiff is the capital of Wales, and thus quite the metropolis full of shopping. It's currently vying for the 2007 "Centre of Culture" in Europe, and holds much to its name to earn the distinction from rich castles to museums.
The travel started off with a side trip to St. Ffagans (Castle #1) which was gorgeous and unreal, which was marked by a second castle, the Cardiff Castle, in the city. Although Cardiff manages to have everything, we managed to end up in the worst restaurant in town allowing for a rememberable, hillarious moment.
