Three days with the traveler's bug.  Still able to experience the mind blowing Forensic and Parasite Museum in the largest hospital.  I can't begin to describe the dead bodies and body limbs that Chris and I witnessed.  If I wrote most of it you would never believe it.  I will say that they use this museum as a precursor to Med school and if the students can't hack it... they are out.

There were exhibits from the tsunami, murders, diseases... ahhh... there were dead bodies in cases that looked like phone booths.  These cases were unlocked and being held closed by a piece of scotch tape.  The bodies were leaning against the glass door.  Only in thailand could you open a case at a museum and have a crusty old dead body fall out.  I can't even get into.  Chris and I left stark white and speechless.  It was a good reminder of just how fragile and amazing our bodies really are.  Take care of the temple, right Todd?

Also, has anyone heard the song, "The Killers vs. KISS"?  Please, tell me yu all have.  I heard it while walking through a market yesterday and flipped out.  Heard the opening lick, "I was made for loving you, baby..."  then it was instantly Killers... I was flipping out bc what I heard next were the two looped together.  Pure beauty.  Killers and KISS.... ha!  I love it.  Help me out, people... I'm craving some new tunes.  Feeling a little out of the loop and freaking out.

Sad to say goodbye to Thailand.  It doesn't feel like it's been six weeks and I'm surely not finished with the sights, sounds and smells of this country.  Well, maybe I'm done with some of the smells.  Let's just say, I am leaving quite sad to see the journey end, but excited to see what Cambodia has to offer.

Chris and Justine ahave extended their trip and will be travling with us for two weeks throughout Cambodia.  Chapter two.

Hey Jill! I've been reading your blog and I am excited for you! This seems like the trip of a lifetime. In case you are looking for "updates from home," I thought I'd share that I was in b-town for Tgiving and went out with Greg on Weds, and saw all sorts of BHS alums: John Connectus, Betsy and Andy Bishop, ?Greg Schuler?, Ben DiMatteo, Paul and Brian Guarino (don't know if you knew them)...tons more...basically everyone who graduated from 1995-2003. It was kinda cool, and also very wierd (don't really want to do it again). Got to see the Mrowkas, and Have lunch at AD Oliver MS with Leslie Bull. Anyways, tell Chris and Laureen I said HI...and have a great time! You guys are getting me excited for this summer: A teacher buddy and I are taking students to Europe for a couple weeks, and I can't wait! Stay safe etc etc... Brian
