New Years, Birthday, Kiting

New years was a heap of fun. Me and warren headed over to breckenridge and out with some mates we met a while back at the lodge. Breck had some massive fireworks for about 20 mins and we headed out to a few bars to see the new year in! Sorry no photos folks. On my birthday we headed up to keystone after work. I had a few drinks with my flatties in a bar below the slopes before heading up night skiing (shouldve done it the other way round :)). The place is open from 9am-9pm while all the other resorts shut at four. We had a wicked time for about 3 hours of boarding and we're gonna do it again for sure, when it warms up a bit heh.

Its been -20 farenhiet here (-28C or so) for the last few days at night/morning and that is bloody cold! I tried to go boarding yesterday with a mate and it was so cold that our wax just stuck to the snow.. it was like boarding on sand hah.

Needless to say we didnt stay long and i ended up kiting with anton on monday for about 3-4 hours. It was a heap of fun and tried out my new 17.5m kite.. its HUGE.. It was almost perfect conditions at times and was jumping a lot by the end of the day. On tuesday i could hardly move, with my abs, arms and legs not liking the kiting the day before.
