Ello everyone!

Ok so the next stop was Dunedin, i was quite excited about this place because we were going to be able to catch the end of their 'fringe' festival, you know, performing arts, music and comedy. I love my stand up so begged Jen to allow us to go and see one. She gracefully agreed!

we laughed only out of sympathy!

Anyway, when we arrived we went to the tourist information and booked to see a guy the next evening - in the tent next to the church, sorted! So with the rest of the time we mooched about checking out the city. Its pretty nice, nothing special but I it has a nice square and a few good shops. Dunedin has a Cadburys chocolate factory which seemed to grab Jens attention!she begged me to take her, which i happily agreed to as i am partial to a nibble now and again!. We donned the necessary hair net and beard net (me not jen) and were given a magical tour by a very bubbly young lady! We ended up being given quite a few bars which kept us busy for a couple of hours!

The next evening was the comedy show, we arrived at the tent looking forward to a bit of a giggle! Well... we were 2 out of 6 people that arrived to watch a liverpool guy (had been living in NZ for a while) die on stage. It was rubbish - almost painful to watch. we laughed only out of sympathy! on the upside did give out free wine and tasty nuts, so we felt that we got something for our money!

The next day we randomly bumped into Rob and Emily, who we met in LA and again in Nelson. We were coming out of the tourist information when they walked past! crazy! So that night we went for a few drinks and a pizza, it was nice to catch up with them - we advised them not to watch any comedy!

So thats Dunedin  - it was nice to chill out there for a bit, watch some films, catch up on some sleep. Nothing that exciting happened, the weather was nice though so can't complain! Next stop lake Tekapo
